Create a work instruction
Creating work instructions in Azumuta is an easy and straightforward process! Here’s how:
Create a folder
Before creating your first work instruction, it’s best to create a folder. A folder allows you to group multiple work instructions in one location, making it easier for you to manage your work instructions. Here’s how you can create a folder:
- Click Work Instructions on the homepage sidebar.
- Click the yellow plus button on the bottom right of the screen.
- Click Create folder.
- Fill in the available fields (only the folder name field is mandatory – the rest are optional).
- Click Add.
Create a work instruction on a folder
Once a folder has been made, you can create work instructions there. Here’s how:
- Click Work Instructions on the homepage sidebar.
- Click one of the existing folders.
- Click the yellow plus button on the bottom right of the screen.
- Click Create work instruction.
- Fill in the available fields (only the work instruction name is mandatory – the rest are optional).
- Click Add.
Create a standalone work instruction
You can also create a work instruction that is independent from any folder. Here’s how to do it:
- Click Work Instructions on the homepage sidebar.
- Click the yellow plus button on the bottom right of the screen.
- Click Create work instruction.
- Fill in the available fields (only the work instruction name is mandatory – the rest are optional).
- Click Add
Adding Content in Multiple Languages
The name you give a work instruction when creating it is only entered once. If your workspace has more than one language enabled, you don’t choose a language at creation, instead you add translations afterward, field by field, once you open the work instruction. See General for how translatable fields work.
